It was the original spring break place years before anyone even considered Cancun, Jamaica, Bahamas and every other exotic destination students are heading these days. One of the main reasons for this is its accessibility by car. Of course, it depends on where you are located in the US, but you can usually reach the place in less than a day. And actually the “road trip” is element of the whole Spring Break Daytona experience. Only fancy getting in a car with your friends and driving all night down I-95 and listening to your favorite songs.

And there party never stops. While the day the beach is one big parking lot. Cars can drive on the beach and many cruise up and down to be seen. You can not drink alcohol on the beach and are restricted to drinking in the bars and the hotel pool decks but almost all the bars and hotels are oceanfront. Day after day the hotels supply the party crowd with drink specials and various wild contests by the pool.

Atlantic Ave becomes the main spot where the entertainment continues at night. If you look for action you will have no problem with that as you get from one packed nightclub to another.
